9th May 2012 - Beautiful pub in an excellent location - if it was any more riverside you'd have wet feet. Built in 1837 on the site of the Old George Inn, it really is a wonderful piece of work. Try and bag a seat in one of the large bay windows for views of the dome and Canary Wharf. Usually busy, especially at weekends, and is full of tourists so there is no real 'local' vibe to the place. If there was, it would get a higher score.

7th Mar 2005 - Very good location and well turned out pub. Beer isn't too expensive and is perfectly acceptible. Would have got a higher rating were it not for the fact that the kitchen was shut due to some function upstairs so we never got to try the food. On the upside they have a wide selection of crisps.
