28th Aug 2008 - I thought this pub was very charming and had a wonderful feel of history as well as a Contemporary. I thought the food was very reasonable (not massive portions) however taste was good and let's be honest your in the docklands you are hardly going to pay 'cafe prices'. The service I can not fault so was shocked to hear about such rudeness in the review on front page. In the summer this pub would be in my top 10 list to visit. Recommended to see.

20th Dec 2004 - Nice pub in excellent location. It's gone gastro and the food is ok. Small portions and quite pricey, so don't come here if you're actually hungry. The eating area only occupies about a quarter of the place so there is still a pub feel, especially in the back rooms with the open fires. There is a large terrace on the river that overlooks the dome, and I imagine it will be heaving in the summer. Staff were arsey types who didn't really want to serve you. It's the same every time so maybe it's deliberate.
