12th Aug 2009 - Very attractive gastro a short walk from Warwick Avenue tube station. The main bar is set up with booths which, as not all of the outer doors are open, makes for some interesting ducking to get to the cosier locations. If you don't fancy putting your back out there is also seating in the 'Formosa Dining Rooms' to the back. As one would expect for a pub with a restaurant named as such, the Prince Alfred is most definitely a gastro, and the menu looks rather good. As far as the drinks go the usual continental lagers are represented but it's a bit lacking on the ale/bitter front. All in all a very nice pub to while away an afternoon.
