21st Aug 2007 - Weird place. Very quiet when we went - but a slightly Twin Peaksy out of place feel. Why was the midget chav sitting on the sofa with the kid and the overweight glamourpuss, while two gay lads were necking on a table and some rough looking locals were playing pool? I suppose you would say mixed and open clientelle. Would ned to go again to understand what it is really for. Actually reasonably OK interior - not overly modernised trad pub look - and bars for leaning on from both sides away from the main bar - a good thing if you ask me. Am intrigued to go back - but I doubt I would go often. Oh - and a lovely chatty bar girl.

21st Aug 2007 - Gets a five because the barmaid was nice and friendly. As stated by Cavalier, the resident clientele were a mixed bunch, but the pub was perfectly fine, being in the late 80's / early 90's style of carpet and pool table.
