19th Jul 2012 - Popped in here for a quick drink one rainy evening and was pleasantly surprised. Good service (yes it's trendy and Hoxtonish but the guy serving was very friendly), lovely decor and good selection of drinks. I can imagine it gets rammed on a Friday night but mid-week it's got a great vibe. Worth a look.

23rd Jan 2009 - Astounding interior is offset by high prices, the good beers being off most times I've been in, and totally incompetent barstaff that seem to be on tranquilisers or something.

When the beer is on, it is tasty, and the people are friendlier than your average Shoreditch morons. I am conflicted about this place, as you can probably tell.

10th Sep 2008 - Cool pub, a destination in itself, shabby-chic-kitsch design (a compliment by the way), mixed but definitely there-to-be-seen crowd. Recommended for an out of Hoxton Hoxton vibe - Spitalfields the new late night destination anyone?

13th Feb 2008 - Pub or bar pub or bar pub or bar..... hmmm... just nudges into pub land I think. An unexpectedly good place full of normal people having a good time. Come, drink, play pool, have a cocktail, go home.

13th Feb 2008 - There's an inexplicably good atmosphere in here it has to be said. Decor is eclectic in nature on both floors, with upstairs considerably more 'chic' down down. Was very busy when we went but didn't feel overly crowded. Recommended.

11th Feb 2008 - This pub is good fun. Lots of very interesting decor creating a very special atmosphere, and the people to match. If you find Hoxton trendies annoying don't come here, but if like me you can live and let live, and think it takes all sort to make a world and variety is the spice of life etc etc blah blah blah, then you'll probably enjoy this bar. Has a pool table which is on the way to the ladies and there were plenty of them tootling past in gangs of two or three and even giggling occasionally. Check it oooooooooooooooout

7th Feb 2008 - A trendy bar that could fit in with its Hoxton competitors. They serve cocktails upstairs. The decor is amazing - a mix of wallpapers, including cartoons on the way to the gents. Come here for some interior inspiration. The pool table is unexpected, and I can't imagine the boho mob making much use of it, but you never know.
