25th Apr 2012 - Walking past in my lunch hour not really sure why as its raining so I decided to pop in and dry off a little. After a short wait for the bar lady to finish helping a customer fill in an online form I was served a Woodford wherry. I had ordered it she wasn't just guessing. I took a seat at one of the tables that surround the central bar. Its a traditional Taylor Walker pub with a large window down one side and a covered terrace outside. Whenever I have been past its been far to busy to try but it seemed a decent pub to stop at for lunch. Just as I was leaving a gentleman asked if the toilets were downstairs and the bar lady said yes. While this isn't overly interesting the fact the ladies toilets is downstairs amused me while I peed in the upstairs gents toilet. Nothing exceptional but a decent proper pub.
