26th Jan 2013 - Where do I start, me and my mate thought we would give this boozer a bash for a friday night, there are loads of right old goers present and we had heard some real tales. The decor is all red looks like a brothel and the bogs stink of 10 year old piss, s**t and discarded cocaine raps... there was a live singer on well if you can call it that, some old brass who thought she was peggy mitchell was hanging around giving orders to the fatties behind the bar.. we couldnt stop laughing but the bords were coming at us thick and fast and we only needed a few drinks to make them shagable. unfortauntely the drink was the downfall, we should have stuck to top shelf but me and me mate are both lager lovers so we ordered a couple of pints,, Now i cant say for sure what they have been doing to there barrels of beer or pipes but the beer had strange metal chemical taste, still we pursued.after pint 3 gazza said he needed the carsey he was going green at this point and i thought f**k me he aint had that much. he came back 45 minutes later and said we need toi get out of here lively mate, i thought someone had give him a dig, he was moaning all the way home writhing about in the back of the cab like a big girl. I was thinking seriously mate it cant be that bad.oh how wrong i was... as i walked through my street door i let out a silent fart, i felt something wet in my jeans i had shat myself.. i ran to the lav and got on, the whole f**king world fell out of my arse/ i have eaten vindaloo in deepest calcutta and not experienced a bout of the squirts like this. it is now some 24 hours since drinking the said beer and i am still frightened to venture more than 3 feet from my carsey. I have destroyed 2 sets of sheets and several pairs of underpants. oN monday I will be calling claims direct as i think the fat birds behind the ramp have poisoned me and the horn of plenty needs a licence to sell chemical waste not beer.

26th Jan 2011 - The Horn of Plenty is a fun and lively old school pub. There is live music every weekend. The bar staff are always friendly and accommodating. Always a great atmosphere and a guaranteed good night. Mixed age group form 25+. Parties, Bar mitzvah’s and all occasions catered for. There are not many pubs left like the Horn’s in the East End of London. Come down for a memorable night!

22nd Sep 2008 - Scary pub - most of the windows are bricked up and the others were covered by closed curtains but possibly because they were having a semi-private party (stag do). Odd bar - no furniture to speak of, just a bar in the middle of the room which was covered with photos of Frank Sinatra (and er Freddie Mercury). Good swing music though but very much a lads pub.

21st Sep 2008 - Don't come here in the week expecting to find it open, as the landlord helpfully informed us that "we don't usually open in the week".

What kind of pub doesn't open in the week? One that has no furniture, is full of men, has a small stage area in one corner and closes the curtains. Please arrive at your own conclusions!
